All about us

We have three mains parts to our mission:

Fun

At X:site we're Tiggers not Eeyores and we never underestimate the importance of having fun, when we're celebrating God, in workshops, group time, lunch or gungeing it is engaging, dynamic and fun!

Faith

At the heart of what we do is our passion to give young people the opportunity to explore their faith and the Bible. We are a Christian event but you do not have to be a Christian to come. We will spend time celebrating and learning about God allowing people to respond in their own way to what we discover.

Safety

Young people are precious and we take our responsibility towards them very seriously. We have an experienced team who have all completed an enhanced DBS disclosure and all our activities are sensibly risk assessed. We also hold a comprehensive insurance policy just in case.

Accountability

X:site is run by local churches and acountable to the Parish of Keighley PCC and the Trustees of All Nations Church. Our Easter holiday club is covered by the insurance and safeguarding policies of the Parish of Keighley. All other events come underneath All Nations Church (Airedale Church Trust).

We are members of the Christian residential network (CRNET) and are signatures to their code of practice and statement of faith.

What we believe

We affirm the CRNET statement of faith.

We believe in:

  • The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct
  • The triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit
  • The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection and His personal, visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory
  • The person of the Holy Spirit and His work of conviction, regeneration and sanctification, who indwells every believer equipping them with gifts for service and witness;
  • The necessity of new birth, in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone, and the importance of a life fully committed to the will of God in Christ;
  • The church as the one, universal body of Christ who is the Head, called to be God’s redeemed people
  • X:site Keighley is run by local churches
